about daqron redirect
daqron redirect is a simple tool to address a simple problem. We live on an internet with long, cumbersome URLs that are impossible to remember and generally irritating when you have to cut and paste them.
To address this problem, several enterprising individuals have come up with websites that automatically generate short URLs with random strings like makeashorterlink.com/?abcd1234. These sites include makeashorterlink.com, shorterlink.com and tinyurl.com. This site was inspired by those shorter link sites that came before it.
so what's better about these daqron links?
Unlike the other redirect sites on the internet, daqron redirect allows you to name your own link. Whereas on other sites you get a randomly assigned string of letters and numbers, here you get to call your link whatever you want.

daqron redirect also gives you search capability to search the database for existing link names or URLs. Handy if you've forgotten your link or just want to see what sort of links are in there. And just for fun, try out the random link feature.
will the links expire?
Your daqron redirect links will not expire. If the database ever gets so full that it slows down the site, a time limit might be instituted for the links, but if that ever happens, ample warning will be posted. At any rate, it would take a long time and a lot of use for that to occur. Note that while our links will remain in place, the target URL may disappear or expire and daqron redirect obviously has no control over that. Furthermore, the site may go offline without warning and your link URLs may become unavailable.
